Amar Gurung (Founder/Director of photography/Cinematographer/editor)
Amar has been working as a DOP for the past nine years and have subsequently been a part of organizations like BBC, Euro news, Voice of America, Oxfam India, SEWA Bharat etc. Documentary Filmmaking is something he always wanted to explore as he feels visual storytelling has the power to educate as well as aware people. He likes to tell stories about the lives of real people in ways that help audiences make or see connections - about ideas or issues - that may otherwise seem abstract.
